The 2019 PACT/TPA Scholarship winners have been chosen. We extend our congratulations to this year’s winners.
The 2019 Scholarship winners are:
Lauren Mueller is a sophomore at Owens Community College and is pursuing a Registered Nurse designation with an interest in cardiac nursing. Lauren is a Perrysburg High School graduate where she was involved in the theatre department. Her hobbies include cooking, baking, reading and traveling.
Colton Powaski, who recently graduated from Northview High School, plans to attend Miami University in the fall. While at Northview, he was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. He obtained Varsity Letters in football and track and was on the Senior All-Academic Team football and track & field. He also played Northview baseball and participated in Speech and Debate. At Miami, he is planning a double major in International Studies and Russian, East European and Eurasian studies.
Joseph “J. T.” Puszczewicz is a Junior at Blissfield High School. He was on the Principal’s Honor Roll with all A’s in 2017-2019 and a National Honor Society member in 2019. He was Student Council Class Vice President 2016-2017. J.T. is also a Life Scout with Blissfield Boy Scouts Troop 708 with a goal of becoming an Eagle Scout this summer.
Morgan Simon is a freshman at Otsego High School. She is a National Junior Honor Society member and was on the Otsego High School Varsity Cheerleader Team and a Historian for her Wood County 4H Club. Morgan is the Wood County Junior Livestock Showman Champion for Beef Cattle (2015-2018).
